Counselling Services
Finding the right support shouldn't feel complicated. Here's what you need to know about my counselling services, from your therapy options to the fees & insurance.
Your Therapy Options
Therapy should fit your life, not the other way around. Appointments are available either in-person at my Airdrie office or virtually via Zoom from anywhere in Alberta.
Each 50-minute session is a confidential, one-on-one meeting entirely dedicated to you. These sessions are collaboratively designed around your unique situation and the specific goals you want to accomplish in a supportive environment.
You might be seeking counselling if you’re experiencing:
Feeling persistently sad, empty or unmotivated — struggling to find joy or meaning in daily life.
Constant worry or anxiety — racing thoughts, panic or difficulty relaxing even during downtime.
Work-related stress or burnout — feeling emotionally drained, resentful or pressured to “keep it together.”
Lingering effects of trauma — distress linked to past experiences such as abuse, domestic violence, accidents, medical trauma or loss.
Trouble setting boundaries or saying no — feeling overwhelmed by others’ expectations.
Overthinking or perfectionism — a sense that you’re never good enough, no matter how hard you try.
Emotional triggers or anger that feels hard to control — snapping easily or feeling guilt after outbursts.
Sleep issues — difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep or quieting your mind at night.
Feeling stuck or uncertain — sensing that something needs to change but not knowing where to start.
While these are common areas I work with, my clinical experience is across a broad range of mental health concerns. If you're unsure whether your situation fits, please reach out.
Investment in Your Well-Being: Fees and Insurance
Starting in 2025, based on the recommended rates by the Psychologists' Association of Alberta, our session fee will be $235 per 50-minute session.
